The pea fibers are mixed with raw, food-grade materials such as starch, corn powder, and guar gum, which act as natural clumping agents. Catit Pea Husk Litter ingredients are mixed and compressed into tiny pellets of 0.06 inches (1.5 mm) in diameter, which is only half as thick as most other pea husk litters. The pea husk pellets can absorb up to 300% or about 3 times their own weight in cat waste, thanks to their unique diameter.
